URBAN FOREST STRATEGY

Now is no better time to be discussing the future greening of the Town of Victoria Park.

Vic Park Trees successfully moved a motion in June 2016 for an Urban Forest Strategy. The motion was well received by the electors and subsequently was supported by Councillors.

The strategy is a collaboration between the Town of Victoria Park, Vic Park Trees, Vic Park Collective, the wider community and key stakeholders.

The strategy is complete. The public submission period for the draft has ended and the final amendments are being made to the strategy right now. Read the strategy below and compare to the other strategies available.
